ABOUT

     Jonny Nelson is an actor and comedian who is based in Chicago and tours the country performing, teaching, and recording his podcast. He teaches improv at The Second City and Comedy Sportz. He graduated from Grand Valley State University with a double major in Philosophy and German.
      Jonny performs has been performing improv and sketch comedy for 15 years. He has performed musical improv with Second City's house team Infinite Sunday's, long form improv with the ensemble of Juneboy & Beserker at the iO theater Chicago, short form improv at Comedy Sportz Chicago, improv/sketch/video with Eisbär a two man show, his solo show Social Science at iO,  improv for children with The Greatest Story Never Told. He has also taught improv workshops for business such as Linkedin, The Federal Passport Agency, Dev Boot Camp, and Cannon Ball Productions.
